2018 Will Bring New Blue Link Services to New Hyundai Models

It may seem like we've just gotten into the swing of 2017, but 2018 models are already on the horizon and Hyundai has some exiting new technology features that drivers will be excited about. Staying connected on the road is more important than ever, so Hyundai is adding some innovative new technology features for their 2018 Blue Link equipped vehicles. Some of the most popular Blue Link services – like Remote Door Lock, Remote Start with Climate Control, and Monthly Vehicle Health Report – will now be offered as standard features for three years! These features are enabled by the Blue Link system and work through your smartphone, smartwatch, or Amazon Alexa. The rough winter months will be a little more tolerable with the new remote start feature that allows you to control the rear defroster and heated side mirrors from the comfort of the indoors; it will be available on the 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT and Sonata. Some of these features are available now, and they're standard on all 2017 IONIQ models.

Safety and security features have also been enhanced with services such Automatic Collision Notification, SOS Emergency Assistance, and Stolen Vehicle Recovery. A new dedicated SOS button provides faster access and connection to emergency services, and the services are available every day of the year, 24 hours a day. In other technology news, Hyundai is offering free downloads to enhance and supplement outdated navigation information through the MyHyundai website. Hyundai has even more innovation in store for the 2018 models, and we're excited to share it with you.
